Location: 32 miles North of Lewiston on Hwy 95

Moscow (pronounced Mos-co) is a vibrant university-centric town surrounded by open and scenic terrain with unique dry-land farming. Lake Missoula glacial flows carved out the topography, called the Palouse, into beautiful rolling hills ideal for bicycle and motorcycle touring, mountain biking, hiking, and scenic drives with small towns, wineries, artisan and art studio visits along the way. Thanks to the University of Idaho, and Washington State University 7 miles away, visitors and residents have easy access to diverse cultural, artistic and recreational events, and wonderful local foods and wines. Two paved trails are centered in Moscow, the 8-mile Bill Chipman PalouseTrail connecting Pullman, Washington to the west and the 16-mile Latah Trail to the east connecting Troy, Idaho. May thru October the Moscow Farmer’s Market takes place every Saturday in Friendship Square and considered the best market east of the Cascades.
