Water Activities

Water Activities

Lakes, reservoirs and rivers offer many opportunities for outdoor recreation. Choose your sport and you'll find a body of water for it. For the more adventurous, world-class whitewater rafting and kayaking can be found on the Lochsa, Selway, Snake and Salmon Rivers. Boat, canoe, fish, sail, or just float quietly and watch the sun set.

Docks and ramps are located at many state parks and campgrounds. Best destinations: Kamiah, Kooskia, Lewiston, Orofino, Powell, Riggins, Three Rivers, White Bird and Winchester.

Hot springs are a relaxing and natural way to enjoy a unique feature of North Central Idaho's landscape. You'll find private resorts with indoor pools to springs in forests, where you can enjoy the scenery while you soak.

***Featured Businesses listed on the menu are exclusive members of North Central Idaho Travel Association and have committed to supporting tourism by providing the visitor with hospitality and a valued experience.
