Snowhaven just outside of Grangeville opens today.  One of three small ski hills located in north central Idaho, created for family entertainment.  Snowhaven has a fantastic tubing hill for those who might not ski but want to get out for some winter-time fun.  You won't find these ski hills on the Top 10 Ski Destinations of all the "big-time" lists.  However, when you ask the locals, they are rated at the Top for fun and affordability.  A half day ticket doesn't cost much more than a movie ticket and snacks.
