The Salmon River at Riggins is recognized as a premiere steelhead fishery. Riggins gives anglers great access to the middle and lower stretches of the Salmon River as well as the Little Salmon River. From late September through April this steelhead run offers perhaps the longest seasonal duration with the most consistent quality steelheading in the U.S. Whether fishing from the bank, a power boat, or a drift boat, the unbridled beauty of the Salmon River and the magic of these sea run fish make for a world class experience.
