Your Adventure is Waiting...

Those who visit the Lewis-Clark Valley are pleasantly greeted by, abundant outdoor activities, festivals, cultural events, rich history and friendly people. Many visitors say they have never quite experienced anything like our area. It’s a peaceful getaway in a rural and safe setting allowing you to experience a quality of life untouched by traffic congestion, large crowds and the fast paced frenzy of larger cities.

Our area boasts world class Steelhead fishing September through March on the Clearwater, Snake and Salmon rivers. The Lewis Clark Valley is known as a charming gateway to the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area and provides easy access to fishing, jet boat tours and more outdoor adventures. Hells Canyon is North America’s deepest gorge and a sight to behold. We invite you to experience the canyon and explore the fun, safe and affordable guided jet boat tours or fishing excursions.

Nestled at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater rivers the Lewis-Clark Valley is named in honor of the Lewis Clark encampment providing an environment rich in history. Located on the famous Lewis and Clark Trail and Lewis Clark Scenic Byway the area showcases tributes to the historic journey of explorers Lewis and Clark. The local Nez Perce Tribe also represents our area with cultural and community events.

Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington both boast quaint downtown areas with independently owned boutique shopping, and local eateries. You’ll find established wineries and local breweries in both Lewiston and Clarkston.

Our area also has four golf courses that are available for golf almost year-round because of our mild weather and you’ll find ample accommodations including riverside RV parks and campgrounds. You’re encouraged to enjoy the bike and walking trails that flank the Snake River. Other attractions include a driving range, indoor batting cages, an aquatic center, Arena cross, a paintball arena, an indoor ice skating rink, RV accommodations, camping areas and several public parks for picnicking and more.

You are cordially invited to explore our website and make your plans to experience the Lewis-Clark Valley first hand. We welcome you to our area and look forward to hearing about your adventures. When can we expect you?
