Welcome to North Central Idaho, where FUN is affordable and waiting for you around every corner. We're the largest region in the state of Idaho and possibly the most unique.
This is home to the deepest river gorge in north America - Hells Canyon, the longest free flowing river in the lower 48 the Salmon River of No Return, , more wilderness areas than any other state the Gospel Hump, Selway Bitterroot, Frank Church and Hells Canyon. Most of Idaho's 3200 miles of whitewater are located here on the Lochsa, Selway, Clearwater, Salmon and Snake. We're home to the Niimiipuu Tribe now known as the Nez Perce, and the Northwest Passage Scenic Byway, an All American Road one of the Top 10 Scenic Drives of the northern Rockies.
